Gisteravond heb ik onder het breien naar A castle voor Christmas gekeken op Netflix met in de hoofdrol Brooke Shields. Wat een heerlijke film was dit.

Vandaag achter het raampje van de kalender gekregen van mijn petekind Amy een vrij nieuwe foto van een maand of 2-3 geleden. Links is Loïs die morgen 9 maanden wordt en rechts is Lana die over 1 week 2 jaar wordt.

Het eerste deel van de Christmas in the big woods sokken is af. Dit is de boord en ze heeft het patroontje Big Woods genoemd, naar de grote bomen die rondom de blokhut staan. Het patroon ziet er misschien moeilijk uit maar is in werkelijkheid heel gemakkelijk te breien.

Een sok wordt blauw met een roze hiel en teen en de andere sok wordt roze met een blauwe hiel en teen, vandaar dat je ze samen kunt breien.
