Ik hoop dat iedereen hele fijne kerstdagen heeft gehad. Hier zijn de dagen van december weer omgevlogen. Tijd om de foto's te plaatsen van alle garens per advent kalender bij elkaar in 1 overzichtsfoto.

Op 26 december kwam ook de Knitability van de Bakery Bears weer uit. Dit is een online tijdschrift voor hun patrons. Laatst september kreeg ik een email van Dan die me vroeg of ik een artikel voor het tijdschrift wilde schrijven (halloween of de kerst uitgave, ik koos voor de laatste). Hier zijn de 3 bladzijden uit het tijdschrift. De tekst heb ik weggeveegd omdat dit voor de patrons alleen te lezen is. De foto's die ik ervoor had gemaakt heb ik wel laten staan.

The Bakery Bears' Knitability was also released again on December 26. This is an online magazine for their patrons. Last September I received an email from Dan asking me if I wanted to write an article for the magazine (Halloween or the Christmas issue, I choose Christmas). Here are the 3 pages from the magazine. I wiped away the text because it is only be read by patrons. I left the photos which I made for you to see.

First advent sunday

Vandaag is het de 1e zondag van advent, dus we mogen het 1e kaarsje aansteken. Net als vorig jaar heb ik dit jaar gekozen voor een aantal kalenders die alleen op de advent zondagen geopend mogen worden. Straks gaan we op bezoek bij vrienden waar we al een tijdje niet zijn geweest, dus dat wordt een gezellige middag en avond.

Today is the 1st Sunday of Advent, so we can light the 1st candle. Just like last year, this year I have chosen a number of calendars that can only be opened on Advent Sundays.
We'll be visiting friends later today, we haven't seen them in a while, so it will be a fun afternoon and evening.

De eerste is van Atelier Sopra, haar pakket bestaat uit 6 strengen met een mini. Behalve op de adventzondagen, mogen we ook op sinterklaasdag en kerstdag 1 streng openen.

The first is from Atelier Sopra, her package consists of 6 skeins with a mini. In addition to Advent Sundays, we can also open 1 skein on Saint Nicolas Day and Christmas Day.

De volgende is van Wol met Verve. Het kleurthema is Boho Soft en er zitten 5 strengen in het pakket waarvan we de eerste 2 strengen op deze 1e advent zondag mogen openen. Alles strengen zaten in deze mooie tas.

The next one is from Wol met Verve. The color theme is Boho Soft and there are 5 skeins in the package, the first 2 skeins we can open on this 1st Advent Sunday. All skeins were packed in this beautiful bag.

Als derde is daar de kalender van Nicole C. Mendez. Voor elke advent zondag een zelfstrepende streng, net als vorig jaar. De kleur heet Christmas Carols.

Third is Nicole C. Mendez's calendar. For every Advent Sunday a self-striping skein, just like last year. The color is Christmas Carols.

De 4e en tevens laatste van de advent zondagen kalenders is die van The Happy Kiwi Stitchmarkers. Deze advent bevat 4 handgemaakte (polymeer) steekmarkeerders en een bonus item (blikje met steekmarkeerders). De steekmarkeerders hebben een kerstthema en het thema van dit jaar is Elf.

The 4th and last of the Advent Sunday calendars is that of The Happy Kiwi Stitchmarkers. This advent contains 4 handmade (polymer) stitch markers and a bonus item (tin with stitch markers). The stitch markers have a Christmas theme and this year's theme is Elf.

Wat heb ik weer genoten van alle kalenders, sommige heb ik alweer genoteerd voor het nieuwe jaar. Mijn brei en haak plannen heb ik in het bericht van 22 december al verteld. Ik doe nog even voorzichtig aan, want mijn rechterhand geeft sinds een dag of 10 wat problemen. Hier laat ik maandag even de fysio naar kijken.
Dan wil ik jullie allemaal een fijn oudjaar wensen en voor het nieuwe jaar de beste wensen en een goede gezondheid, want dat is toch wel het belangrijkste, nietwaar?

How I enjoyed all the calendars again, some I have already noted down for the new year. I already told my knitting and crochet plans in the message of December 22nd. I'm still careful, because my right hand has been having some problems for about 10 days. I'll have the physio look at this on Monday.
Then I want to wish you all a happy new year and best wishes for the new year and good health, because that is the most important thing, right?
