Advent day 4

Gisteren hebben we een klein kerstboompje gehaald van ruim 90 cm hoog (inclusief pot). Vorig jaar kon ik geen grote kerstboom zetten ivm ruimtegebrek omdat mijn dochter met haar gezin hier inwoonde en nu gaat het niet, want Mees zou de boom kompleet slopen. Daarom dit jaar weer een kleintje.

Yesterday we got a small Christmas tree of over 90 cm high (including pot). Last year I couldn't put up a big Christmas tree due to lack of space because my daughter lived here with her family and now it's not possible, because Mees would completely demolish the tree. So this year again a little one.

De Theespecialist (L) heeft voor ons de Madame Butterfly thee (groene thee met perzik smaak) en de English Tea Shop (R) de Zwarte chai thee.

Vandaag staat achter het raampje van de kalender gekregen van mijn petekind Amy ook weer een foto uit de oude doos. Deze is van rond 1990, toen mijn dochter Lindy 4 was en ze staat hier samen op met mijn vader (die overleden is in januari 2016).

Today is behind the window of the calendar given to me by my godchild Amy another photo from the old box. This one is from around 1990, when my daughter Lindy was 4 and she's on it with my father (who passed away in January 2016).

Vandaag geen breiwerk om te laten zien, ik ben nog bezig met het boordje van de sok. Wat ik wel kan laten zien is dit boek: Zonnige dagen uit het Duincafé van Debbie Johnson, deel 4 uit de Duin café serie. Deze heb ik weer uitgelezen, het zijn ook zo leuke boeken en inmiddels heb ik deel 5 Een kerstcadeau van het Duincafé gereserveerd bij de bibliotheek.

No knitting to show today, I'm still working on the sock cuff. What I can show you is this book: Sunshine at the Comfort Food Café  by Debbie Johnson, part 4 of the Comfort Food Cafe series. Just finished this one, they are so nice books too read and I have now reserved part 5 A gift from the Comfort Food Café at the library.
