Het is weer tijd om alle garens per advent kalender op de foto te zetten. Dan zie je pas goed hoe de kleuren met elkaar samen werken en dan kun je ook naar patronen gaan zoeken die erbij passen.

Vanmiddag heb ik ook het laatste draadje ingestopt van de linnen stitch deken.

Ik heb er 2 jaar aan gewerkt. De maat is 150 cm x 120 cm.

I worked on it for 2 years. The size is 150 cm x 120 cm.

Er zitten 36 mini strengen in van Strawberry Fields Yarns die ik samen hield met Fabel, een garen van Drops in de kleur 114.

It contains 36 mini skeins of Strawberry Fields Yarns that I held together with Fabel, a yarn from Drops in color 114.

Het was een feestje om deze te maken.

It was a joy to make it.

Ik wens iedereen een fijne jaarwisseling.

Merry Christmas and Happy birthday Mees

 Vandaag is onze Mees alweer 4 jaar geworden.

Today our Mees turned 4 years old.

Ik kon ook nog een paar pakjes open maken vandaag.

Else had bij de swap ook een cadeautje voor kerstdag, naast de mooie bol garen een schitterende steekmarkeerder van een jack russel terriër. Echt geweldig.

Vandaag een bak dag gehad. Het hele huis ruikt nog naar gingerbread koekjes.

Ik won dit boek vorige week in de give away die Manuela Inusa elke dag hield tijdens advent.
Een boek uit de Valerie Lane serie. Ben er zo blij mee, gelukkig kan ik ook goed Duits lezen. Ze stuurde ook nog volop andere dingen mee. 

I won this book last week in the giveaway that Manuela Inusa held every day during Advent. A book from the Valerie Lane series. I'm so happy with it, luckily I also can read German. She also sent plenty of other things.

In de late middag hebben wij weer volop gingerbread koekjes gebakken voor de kinderen en kleinkinderen. Het is stilaan een traditie geworden want ze vinden ze heerlijk. Twee koektrommels worden morgen weer afgegeven, uiteraard blijft 1 koektrommel hier bij ons.

In the late afternoon we baked plenty of gingerbread cookies for the children and grandchildren. It has gradually become a tradition because they love them. Two cookie jars will be delivered again tomorrow, of course, 1 cookie jar will stay here with us.

Later deze week zal er nog een overzicht foto komen van alle garens uit de advent kalenders. Ik ben al volop plannen aan het bedenken wat ik ermee ga maken.

Afgelopen vrijdag kon ik ook mijn gereserveerde boek meenemen. Het vierde deel uit de Kustdromen serie van Manuela Inusa, Mooie jaren in de aardbeientuin.

Last Friday I was also able to take my reserved book with me from the library. The fourth part of the Coastal Dreams series by Manuela Inusa, Beautiful years in the strawberry garden (her books are not translated to English)

Ik hou zo van haar boeken. Meestal lees ik ze binnen een dag of 2 - 3 uit.

I love her books so much. I usually read them within 2 - 3 days.
