Dear Rine - 45 and 46

Weer 2 rondjes gevuld van de Dear Rine. Er werd een schildpad en een quaker motiefje geborduurd.

Again 2 circles are filled of the Dear Rine. This time with a turtle and a quaker motif.

Dear Rine - 47 and 48

De volgende 2 rondjes zijn gevuld van de Dear Rine. Rondje 48 heeft 2 vogeltjes en nummer 47 heeft weer een quaker motiefje.

The next 2 circles of the Dear Rine are stitched. Circle 48 has two birds and number 47 is again a quaker motif.

Dear Rine - 49

Afgelopen week kwam ik me toch een mooi borduurproject tegen op facebook. Het is ontworpen door Rine Oddens en het project heet Dear Rine. Het bestaat uit 7 x 7 cirkels (= 49 in totaal) en is 287 x 287 kruisjes groot. Borduurwerken met teveel verschillende kleuren symbolen willen nog niet lukken bij mij, in mijn hoofd loopt het dan allemaal door elkaar. Dit werk wordt maar met een paar kleuren gemaakt en ik ben er zeker van dat dit gaat lukken. Dit zijn de kleuren die ik ga gebruiken.

Last week I came across a wonderful cross stitch project on facebook. It is a design from Rine Oddens and it is called Dear Rine. It has 7 x 7 circles (a total of 49) and is 287 x 287 stitches. Cross stitch projects with too many color symbols I still can't do, because it gets fuzzy in my head then. But this project has only a few colors, so I know this will work for me. These are the colors I'm going to use.

 

In elke cirkel komt afwisselend een quaker en een dier motief. We beginnen onderaan rechts bij motief 49 en werken zo elke week, naar motief 1 toe. Elke vrijdag wordt er een nieuw patroontje geplaatst en inmiddels zijn er al 7 deeltjes uitgekomen. De facebook groep heet Dear Rine Borduren (klik). 

Each circle has alternately a quaker and an animal motif. We start at the bottom in the right corner with motif 49 and with each week, we work towards motif 1. Each friday Rine post a new motif and there are already 7 parts released. The facebook group is called Dear Rine Borduren (click). It is a Dutch group, but I know there are also some English talking people there ;-)

Ik borduur het op Zweigart Floba Extra Fine, 32 count in een ecru kleur. De cirkel, het quaker of dier motief borduur ik met 2 draadjes. Het motiefje dat tussen de cirkels in komt borduur ik met 1 draadje DMC.

My fabric is Zweigart Floba Extra Fine, 32 count in a ecru color. The circle, the quaker and animal motif I stitch with 2 threads. The motif that comes between the circles I stitch with 1 thread DMC.
