En dan de Radvent wrap, wat ga ik ermee doen. Door breien of uithalen en opnieuw beginnen? Wat is er dan aan de hand? Ik heb niet goed opgelet en 2x de stitchmarkers verplaatst (bij lichtblauw en donkerblauw) terwijl die op dezelfde plaats moesten blijven. Heel stom !

Dus in plaats van dat ik op het eind en in het begin een punt krijg (zoals bovenaan in het wit getekend), loopt die van mij ovaal. Nu twijfel ik dus enorm wat ik ermee ga doen. Ik laat hem even liggen voor nu en beslis over een paar dagen. Maar ik denk dat ik hem uithaal en helemaal opnieuw begin.

And then the Radvent wrap, what am I going to do with it. continue knitting or rip everything out and start over? What is the matter then? I didn't pay attention and moved the stitch markers 2 times (see the light blue and dark blue marks) while they had to stay in the same place. Very stupid !
So instead of getting a point at the end and at the beginning (as drawn in white at the top), mine is oval. So now I have huge doubts about what to do with it. I'll leave it for now and decide in a few days. But I think I'll rip it out and start all over.

Het patroon heb ik inmiddels goed in de vingers en kleur 9 is weer gebreid. Nu komen de groentinten eraan.

I now have a good grasp of the pattern and color 9 is knitted again. Now the greens are coming.

Zojuist kwam ook de laatste Opal ABO van dit jaar binnen. Ik laat het abonnement doorlopen in 2021 omdat ik de kleuren nog steeds erg mooi vind. Je kunt er niet alleen sokken mee breien, maar ook gebruiken voor gehaakte of gebreide dekens, truien, mutsen, wanten of speelgoed knuffels. Het is gewoon een enorm fijn garen. Omdat dit de laatste levering van het jaar is, krijg je er een extra  streng bij (deze ligt onderaan).

The last Opal ABO of this year has just arrived. I will continue the subscription in 2021 because I still like the colors very much. You can not only knit socks with it, but also use it for crocheted or knitted blankets, sweaters, hats, mittens or soft toys. It is just a very nice yarn. Because this is the last delivery of the year, you will receive an extra skein (it is at the bottom).

En dan vanavond de toespraak van de minister president over een harde lockdown. Ik wens alvast alle middenstanders die hun deuren moeten gaan sluiten veel sterkte toe tot 19 januari. Hopelijk krijgen we het virus op deze manier onder de knie.

And then tonight the prime minister's speech about a hard lockdown. I wish all retailers who have to close their doors a lot of strength until January 19. Hopefully we will get the virus down this way.
