Snowman's Cottage

Bij het borduren van het 3e deel Snowman's Cottage uit de Frosty Forest serie van Country Cottage Needleworks, heb ik weer 1 kleur veranderd.

In deel 1 had ik de kleur DMC 420 veranderd in kleur DMC 3828 en dat heb ik nu ook weer gedaan. Op het hekje voor de cottage zie je de witte vogeltje button.

By stitching part 3 Snowman's Cottage from the Frosty Forest from Country Cottage Needleworks, I changed again 1 color.

In part 1 I changed the color DMC 420 into DMC 3828 and I did this again in this part. On the fence in front of the cottage you see the white bird button.

Snowy Deer

Bij het borduren van Snowy Deer, de tweede uit de serie Frosty Forest van Country Cottage Needleworks, heb ik weer 1 kleur veranderd. 

De hertjes moesten eigenlijk met DMC 3864 geborduurd worden, maar dat vond ik net iets te licht op de beige stof, dus ik heb gekozen voor DMC 3863. In het midden zie je de sneeuwvlok button.

With stitching Snowy Deer, the second from the Frosty Forest series from Country Cottage Needelworks, I change 1 color.

The deer had to be stitched with DMC 3864, but I found that a bit to light on the beige linen so I changed it into DMC 3863. In the middle you see the snowflake button.

En zo ziet het er dan uit met deel 1 en deel 2 geborduurd.

Raccoon Cabin

Het is altijd weer leuk om met een nieuwe serie te beginnen en dat was ook dit keer weer het geval. Voor Raccoon Cabin uit de Frosty Forest serie van Country Cottage Needleworks heb ik alle kleuren aangehouden zoals op het patroon aangeven, op 1 na. 

Ik heb DMC 420 veranderd in DMC 3828 zodat de strepen op de cabin iets beter zichtbaar waren. Op de linkerboom zie je bovenaan de blauwe vogel button.

Its always so nice to start a new series. For Raccoon Cabin from the Frosty Forest series from Country Cottage Needleworks I used the threads as charted, except 1. I changed DMC 420 into DMC 3828 so the stripes on the cabin showed better up. On the left top tree you see the blue bird button.

De volgende van een nieuwe serie ligt alweer te wachten. Little House Needleworks gaat van start met de Calendar Girls (kalender meisjes).

The next of a new series is already waiting. Little House Needleworks starts with the Calendar Girls.

Part of Colonial Homes - LHN

Gisteren kreeg ik ook de borduurband af die ik in het houten DMC kastje kan bevestigen. Ik heb een gedeelte geborduurd van het borduurpatroon Colonial Homes van Little House Needleworks, wat er precies op paste. 

Yesterday I finished my linen band that I have to attach in the wooden DMC cabinet. I stitched a part of the pattern Colonial Homes from Little House Needleworks, that fits perfectly.

Ik heb de kleuren een beetje aangepast met garen dat ik in huis had. Al met al ben ik heel tevreden met hoe het kastje er nu uit ziet.

I have changed the colors a bit with threads that I had in my stash. Overall I'm happy with how the cabinet looks now.

Threads: Crescent Colours (Bamboo,Brown Sugar, Weeping Willow), The Gentle Art (Dried Thyme, Dark Chocolate), Weeks Dye Works (Lancaster Red) and DMC (Blanc).

Gisteravond ben ik ook met deze nieuwe serie begonnen van Coutry Cottage Needleworks, genaamd Frosty Forest (klik). De serie bestaat uit 9 delen met tafereeltjes van een beijzeld en besneeuwd bos.

Yesterday evening I have started with a new series from Country Cottage Needleworks, called Frosty Forest (click). The series contains 9 parts.

Ik ga alle 9 delen op 1 lap borduren (32 ct. vintage beige linnen) en de kleuren die gebruikt worden zijn weer echte Country Cottage Needleworks kleuren. Ook kun je er weer elke keer een leuke button bij kopen, maar dat is niet verplicht. Ik bestel ze er wel elke keer bij, deze keer was het een blauw vogeltje.

I'm going to stitch all 9 parts on 1 piece of fabric (32 ct. vintage mocha linen)  and the colors are again very Country Cottage Needleworks ;-) You can also buy with each pattern a button but that is optional. I'm uying them and this time its a blue bird.
