Schoonmoeder Wil is een paar dagen hier vanwege mijn verjaardag en ze vond kleine Flims uit het vorige blogje zo leuk, dat hij bij haar mag gaan wonen. Ik op mijn beurt heb gewoon even een nieuwe gehaakt voor mezelf. Deze Flims is ietsjes groter geworden, 15 cm. omdat ik voor zijn rug ander garen heb gebruikt.
My mother-in-law Wil is staying with us for a couple of days and when she saw little Flims from previous post, she found hem so cute, so I gave him to her. I have made myself another one. This Flims is a bit larger, almost 6 inch (15 cm.) because I used other thread for his back.
Had ik voor kleine Flims Alaska van Scheepjeswol voor zijn rug gebruikt, bij grote Flims haakte ik met Colombia van Collection Ligne Noire. Deze vond ik in een winkel die pas geopend is in ons dorp, De Rode Draad en die enorm mooi garen in haar collectie heeft.
For little Flims I used Alaska from Scheepjeswol for his back, for big Flims I used Colombia from Collection Ligne Noire. I found it in a shop that just opens his doors in our village, De Rode Draad. They have such beautiful yarn in their collection.
Als je klaar bent met haken, dan neem je een harde plastic borstel of zoals ik, een ijzeren hondenkam en je borstelt het mooi harig uit zodat het egeltje stekeltjes krijgt ;-)
When you are done with crochet, you take a stiff plastic brush or as I did, an iron dog comb and you brush the yarn till its very hairy so the hedgehog gets his spines.
