Is de vrieskou vervangen door de dooi,
dan vinden elfjes varen ook heel mooi.
Tussen het vrolijk eenden gesnater,
varen de bootjes op het water.

then fairies also find sailing nice.
Merry between the chattering ducks,
the boats sail on the water.

Each block of the Fairy Sweet quilt gets his own name and its own little poem with a fairy theme, written by Michiel en me. We wrote these poems in Dutch in rhyme, which gets lost in translation but I hope you still enjoy them.
