Ik ben iets voorbij halverwege met het been van de sok. Sokken breien gaat bij mij nog steeds langzaam, maar ik vind dit wel een van de fijnste dingen om te breien. Het patroon van de Snow Forest is echt leuk om te doen en helemaal niet moeilijk.

I am slightly past half way with the leg of the sock. Knitting socks is still slow for me, but I think this is one of the nicest things to knit. The Snow Forest pattern is really fun to do and not difficult at all.

Eergisteren hadden we ook Christmas Chronicles 2 gekeken, een super leuke film. Tussendoor heb ik een beetje gebreid aan mijn sokken. Niet veel, want er werden ook spelletjes op de Wii gespeeld met de familie. Lana vind alles prachtig, vooral de lampjes in het kerstboompje.

The day before yesterday we also watched Christmas Chronicles 2, a super fun movie. In between, I knitted a little on my socks. Not much, because Wii games were also played with the family. Lana loves everything, especially the lights in the Christmas tree.

Zojuist alle garens uit de advent kalenders per kalender bij elkaar gelegd en een foto gemaakt.

 I couldn't say which one I prefer more, because I love them all. But if I had to choose I would go for Sweeth Tooth or Flowers (numbers 5 and 6). Fortunately, I don't have to choose, I can find a nice project for all of them.

Dit jaar ga ik verder met De Twaalf dagen van Kerstmis, die beginnen op eerste kerstdag, vandaar dat ik vandaag 2 berichtjes schrijf.
The Twelve Days of Christmas (De Twaalf Dagen van Kerstmis) is een Engels kerstlied dat behoort tot de populairste en vaakst opgenomen kerstliederen van de afgelopen eeuw. Het lied gaat over een lijst van geschenken die iemand krijgt van zijn of haar "ware liefde" op elk van de 12 dagen van kerstmis.

Gisterenavond begonnen met de Snow Forest socks, maar de film was zo ontzettend leuk (Christmas Chronicles) dat ik amper gebreid heb.

Last night I started with the Snow Forest socks, but the movie was so great (Christmas Chronicles) that I didn't knit much.

Vandaag hoef ik niet te koken. Dochter en haar Engelse vriend gaan een uitgebreid Sunday Roast maken, een traditioneel Engelse maaltijd.
Ik wens iedereen een hele fijne kerst toe, ondanks alle corona maatregelen.
