I'm back !

Wat een werk was dat, ... meer dan 300 berichtjes moest ik overzetten van mijn oude blog op Punt.nl naar hier. Berichten geschreven van april 2006 t/m oktober 2009, die per 30 maart zouden verdwijnen omdat Punt.nl ermee op houdt.

Meer dan 14 dagen ben ik er intensief mee bezig geweest om alles naar hier te verhuizen. Elk bericht is apart geplaatst met de bijbehorende datum, inclusief de foto's. Aan de rechterkant vind je mijn archief met daarin alle berichten van toen.

What a work that was, ... I had to transfer more than 300 messages from my old blog on Punt.nl to here. Messages written from April 2006 to October 2009, which would disappear on 30 March because Punt.nl will stop.
For more than 14 days I have been intensively involved in moving everything here. Each message is posted separately with the corresponding date, including the photos. On the right you will find my archive with all the messages from then.

Aan de andere kant was het zo ontzettend leuk om al die oude berichten weer eens door te lezen, veel was ik alweer vergeten. Berichten over het project De regenboogkussens wat we opgezet hadden, borduurwerkjes voor de troostquilts en voor round robins. Bezoekjes aan vrienden en familie, maar ook berichten over de andere 3 jack russel terriërs die we hebben gehad. Ik heb meteen een foto van ze opgezocht en die aan de linkerkant op mijn blog geplaatst, direct onder Bowy's foto. Je hebt ze vast al zien staan 😀. Bowy is niet veel uit zijn mand of van de bank af gekomen de afgelopen dagen, want het was ontzettend kou en guur weer.

On the other hand, it was so much fun to read through all those old messages, I had already forgotten a lot. Reports about the project The rainbow cushions that we had set up, cross stitch pieces for the comfort quilts and for round robins.
Visits to friends and family, but also messages about the other 3 jack russel terriers we had. I immediately looked up a photo of them and posted it on the left side of my blog, directly below Bowy's photo. You must have seen them already
Bowy didn't get out of his basket much the last few days, because it was very cold and wet  weather.

Trouwens als je die oude berichten aan het doorspitten bent, dan kom je zelfs dingen tegen waar je het bestaan van vergeten was. Echt waar ! Ik las verschillende berichten over iets dat in dit houten koffer zit en ik was echt vergeten dat ik dit had. Ik heb het meteen van zolder afgehaald en in de huiskamer gezet. Ik laat jullie van de week zien wat er in zit.

By the way, if you are digging through those old messages, you will even come across things that you had forgotten about the existence of. Really ! I read several messages about something in this wooden suitcase and I really forgot that I had this. I immediately removed it from the attic and put it in the living room. I show you what is in it this week.

En als je dan toch zo bezig bent op de pc om alles te ordenen, dan doe je dat ook maar meteen met je boeken. Ik merkte wel vaker dat ik in de winkel of bibliotheek stond en dan niet meer wist of ik een boek gelezen had. Zeker van schrijfsters waar ik meer dan 15 of 20 boeken van gelezen heb en de titels lijken zo op elkaar.

Dus ik maakte gisteren een account aan bij Hebban, de lezerscommunity van Nederland  en ook downloadde ik de app. Daarna heb ik alle boeken die ik de afgelopen jaren gelezen heb en me herinnerde (meer dan 200) in mijn GELEZEN lijst gezet bij Hebban. Als ik nu eens niet weet of ik een boek gelezen heb, dan kijk ik in de app en weet het meteen.

And if you are so busy on the PC to organize everything, then you do that immediately with your books. I often noticed that I was in the store or library and then I no longer knew if I had read a book. Certainly from writers from whom I have read more than 15 or 20 books and the titles are so similar.
So I created an account with Hebban, the readers' community in the Netherlands (something like "Goodreads") and also downloaded the app. Then I put all the books I have read in recent years and remembered (more than 200) in my READ list at Hebban. If I don't know if I have read a book, then I look in the app and know it immediately.

Ook kreeg ik gisteren bericht dat ik 11 april terecht kan in Maastricht bij de longarts. Dus daar zit nu ook schot in. Gisteren kwam de thee binnen van Nicole's Choice. Ik had een kortingscode gewonnen bij aankoop van haar thee advent kalender laatst december. Dus daarvan heb ik nu mijn favorieten uit de kalender nogmaals besteld.

I also received a message yesterday that I can go to Maastricht on April 11 to the pulmonologist for my second opinion. Yesterday, Nicole's Choice tea arrived. I had won a discount code when purchasing her tea advent calendar last December. So I have now ordered my favorites from the calendar again.

Begin van de week was ook daar mijn Maart wolletje (Impressions of Nature) van de Warme Voeten Club van Het Wolbeest wat binnen kwam rollen. Ook deze is weer geweldig.

I also received this week my March wool (Impressions of Nature) from the Warm Feet Club of Het Wolbeest. Again such a beautiful one.

Jullie zijn weer helemaal op de hoogte. Ik denk dat ik nog even een duik ga nemen in dat houten koffer dat nu in de huiskamer staat 😂

You are fully informed again. I think I'll take a dive in that wooden suitcase that is now in the living room 😂
