Ik hoop dat iedereen hele fijne kerstdagen heeft gehad. Hier zijn de dagen van december weer omgevlogen. Tijd om de foto's te plaatsen van alle garens per advent kalender bij elkaar in 1 overzichtsfoto.

En op deze 1e kerstdag hebben we ook een jarige in huis en dat is Mees. Hij wordt vandaag 5 jaar.

And on this first day of Christmas, we also have a birthday boy in the house, and that's Mees. He turns 5 today.

The following calendars are from The Log Cabin 1/2 Fq's (last year's calendar), Bonne Maman (mango fruit spread with ginger), My Buddy (Jamaican hemp bars from Poland), Dog snacks for Mees, a two-person tea calendar from Frogcoffee (ginger, echinacea and green tea), and DM tea (chamomile, sage and orange peel).

Inmiddels zijn de 10 strepen van de Wild Wood Shawl ook af en kan ik aan de border beginnen. Maar ik ben nu eerst bezig met een sok voor Lana te breien en ik wil hem af hebben op de teen na, zodat ik haar de sok op eerste kerstdag kan laten passen.

The 10 stripes of the Wild Wood Shawl are now finished, and I can start on the border. But first, I'm busy knitting a sock for Lana, and I want to finish it except for the toe so I can let her try it on Christmas Day.

Fourth Advent Sunday

 Op deze advent zondag mochten we het vierde kaarsje aansteken.

On this Advent Sunday we were allowed to light the fourth candle.

De eerste is van Atelier Sopra. Ze heeft deze op mijn verzoek gemaakt. Vandaag weer een hele mooie streng

The first is from Atelier Sopra. She made this at my request. Today I got a beautiful skein again.

De tweede is van vriendin Else. Vandaag een mooie roze streng, een sleutelhanger en een prachtig projecttasje.

The second is from friend Else.Today a beautiful pink skein, a keychain and a gorgeous project bag.

Advent day 21

 Inmiddels is het WK darten ook al dagen aan de gang. Blijft mooi om het te volgen. 

The World Darts Championship has been underway for days now. It's always great to follow it.

Op youtube zijn veel breisters die iedere dag tijdens December een filmpje posten, deze heten vlogmas. Ik volg er best wel veel en een ervan is Gintare uit Litouwen. Vorige week had ze een give away in haar filmpje en die won ik. Gisteren kwam de prijs binnen en het was een hele mooie streng.

There are many knitters on YouTube who post a video every day during December; these are called Vlogmas. I follow quite a few, and one of them is Gintare from Lithuania. Last week, she had a giveaway in her video, and I won it. Yesterday, the prize arrived, and it was a beautiful skein.
