Bij aankoop van de 3 nieuwe kleuren van Classic Colorworks, kreeg je het patroon Welcome Spring ! van Little House Needleworks er gratis bij. De nieuwe kleuren zijn echt mooi en het patroon was snel geborduurd, daarna afgewerkt met enkele bijpassende stofjes tot een klein kussentje.
If you buy the 3 new colors of Classic Colorworks you get the pattern Welcome Spring ! from Little House Needleworks for free. The new colors are beautiful and I had stitched it in no-time. I finished it with some matching fabrics into a little pincushion.

Some Bee brass charms
Op het patroon zijn de bijtjes geborduurd, maar ik gebruikte een aantal bijen charms die ik nog had liggen. Voor de kleur geel heb ik ook een andere kleur gebruikt dan op het patroon vermeldt staat.
Verder heb ik de kleur voor het schaap op een andere manier gebruikt dan normaal gedaan wordt met geverfd garen. Ik nam 2 draden, haalde er 1 af en draaide die om, daarna pakte ik ze weer samen. Het kleurverloop van het garen loopt dan anders en op deze manier vond ik de vacht van het schaap leuker uitkomen.
On the pattern the bees are stitched, but I had some bee charms in my stash and used them for this design. I also took another color yellow then written on the pattern.
For the sheep I used the color in a different way. I pull two strands and mismatch the ends, so they do not align the way they were removed. I liked this better for the coat of the sheep.

prachtig borduurtje weer inderdaad mooie nieuwe kleurtjes, mag ik je vragen wat je met al die prachtige kussentjes doet? Ik neem aan dat je ze niet allemaal in de kast legt misschien kan je daar eens een foto van plaatsen? Fijne avond nog.

Anneke, naar gelang de seizoenen liggen ze hier op dienbladen die op salon- en eetkamer tafel staan, verder liggen er veel in mijn vakkenkast waarvan ik pas geleden foto's heb laten zien. Op de hal tafel staat een ijzeren mand waar er ook in liggen, verder staan ze tegen bloempotten aan op de vensterbank, ... ze liggen en staan eigenlijk overal LOL
Verwijderenen als het seizoen voorbij is, dan wissel ik weer af ;-)
