He's a flake

Yesterday I finished He's a flake from LHN and I love this little snowman
Stitched on 36 ct. linnen (tea dyed), threads and beads as listed on chart

Instead of a 3th stitched snowflake I attached a charm snowflake

Candy exchange

More then a week I haven't stitched anything because I had troubles with my neck and shoulder, but last night I tryed and made some stitches on the 3th ornament of LHN.

I promised to show a picture of the thing I made for the candy exchange.

I made this for Iris; Candy from Lizzie Kate

On the bottom I made a candy from fabric and attached it on the pillow,

on the back I used the same fabric as the candy.

Cupcake pillow and candy exchange

On sunday we went to Mayke and Niels (my son and his girlfriend) to celebrate her birthday.

I gave her the cupcake pillow and she realy liked it !

They had also some wonderful news to share:
they are going to be married on 11-11-'11 (11-11-2011) at AM 11.00


My daughter Lindy and her boyfriend Jacco also came this weekend to stay and Lindy bake some cupcakes to give to Mayke and they where YUMMIE !!!


Lindy is always in for funny things and she dressed up to support the Dutch ice skater Sven Kramer who you can see on the Olympic games in Vancouver next week.

I send my present for the candy exchange last friday but it isn't arrived, so I can't show any pictures of it. But I recieved today my candy exchange, made by Lintine.
She made me some beautiful donuts and I love them.


She put some nice beads on top for some sprinkling

February calendar is hanging

Today I have change my calendar and for this month I can look at this pretty pinkeep of february from Little House Needleworks.

For this one I choose a red background because this month its valentine
Lots of love in this little house with his heart

Yesterday and today there is falling again alott of snow overhere

I love when the world looks so white
